What is the Daily Step Goal Progress feature?
The Daily Step Goal Progress shows your progress toward your daily step goal for the current day. The progress bar fills up as you accumulate steps and changes color based on your progress:
- Red: Less than 25% of your goal
- Orange: 25-50% of your goal
- Yellow: 50-75% of your goal
- Blue: 75-99% of your goal
- Green: 100% or more of your goal
You can adjust your daily step goal in your profile settings. The default goal is 10,000 steps per day.
How does the Monthly Step Goal Achievement calendar work?
The Monthly Step Goal Achievement calendar provides a visual overview of your step goal achievements throughout the month. Each day is color-coded based on what percentage of your step goal you achieved:
- Red: Less than 50% of your goal
- Orange: 50-70% of your goal
- Yellow: 70-90% of your goal
- Light Green: 90-100% of your goal
- Green: Over 100% of your goal
You can click on any day to see the exact step count and achievement percentage. Use the navigation arrows to view previous months and track your long-term progress.
The calendar updates automatically with your latest step data, making it easy to identify patterns in your activity levels over time.
What is the Streak Boost feature?
Streak Boost helps you maintain consistency in your fitness journey by tracking consecutive days where you've hit your step goal. The feature has several components:
- Current Streak Counter: Shows how many consecutive days you've met your step goal
- Progress Bar: Displays your progress toward today's step goal
- Streak at Risk Alert: If you have an active streak but haven't yet met your goal with less than 6 hours left in the day, you'll see a "Streak at Risk" warning
The countdown timer shows you exactly how much time you have left to achieve your daily goal and maintain your streak. The warning appears 6 hours before midnight to give you plenty of time to complete your steps during active hours.
Maintaining longer streaks can be motivating and help establish consistent activity habits. Try to keep your streak going as long as possible!

What is Step Union?
Step Union is a platform that unifies your fitness data from various devices and apps into one place. We connect with popular fitness platforms like Garmin Connect to provide a comprehensive view of your health and fitness journey.
How do I connect my fitness device?
To connect your fitness device, go to the Integrations page and click on your device's platform (e.g., Garmin Connect). Follow the authorization process to link your account. Once connected, your data will automatically sync to Step Union.
What data do you track?
We track various fitness metrics including steps, distance, active minutes, and more. The specific data available depends on your connected devices and their capabilities.
How often does my data sync?
Data syncs automatically every few hours when your device is connected to the internet. You can also manually trigger a sync from the Integrations page.
Is my data private?
Yes, your data privacy is our top priority. We only share data that you explicitly choose to share, such as your public profile or leaderboard participation.
How do I manage my privacy settings?
You can manage your privacy settings in your profile settings. Here you can control what data is visible to others and adjust your leaderboard participation.
Can I connect multiple devices?
Yes, you can connect multiple devices and platforms. Step Union will automatically merge and deduplicate your data to provide accurate statistics.
